The graphic novel was artfully designed and used only the most necessary text from the original novel. For this reason, Orwell’s deconstruction of the Communist Soviet Union is more accessible than ever. As we watch the tale of the animals unravel, they attempt to eradicate unfair rule while instead replacing it with new corruption. The novel itself provides interesting insight to allow readers to ponder the dangers of extremist ideologies and what can happen when a government is not focused on serving its people.
